LAX Keeper app is meant to be a simple tool to manage time, score, and penalties for Lacrosse. 

The app has a simple main screen which allows all operations to be done without ever leaving the main screen. We understand that when the game is running, the last thing you want is to lose focus on the time and related activities.

The app allows for configuration of sounds and warnings in order to be used parallel with other tools. Depending on the game and setup, time keepers may use actual horn or other audio devices and may not want some of the sounds from this app.

Here is a complete list of all features:

• Large and bright Remain Time. Considering many colors, the bright green and red on darker background seems to be a better choice when sitting out in a bright sunny day.

• Remain Time changes to bright red color and sounds warning for 30 seconds and 1 minute (2 minutes during 4th period). This is a highly request feature, since it is important to announce time during last minute(s) of the period, and with all the excitement a little visual and audible reminders can help.

• Adjustable time for periods. Click on the time remaining before starting the game to adjust.

• Large and visible Stop and Start button.

• Continuous 5 second warning when clock is stopped during the game.  Often we forget to restart the clock or we miss hitting the "Start" button. This feature will give you an audio feedback to remember that the clock is not running.

• Auto tracking period numbers and Overtime.

• Ability to track scores. This feature is really meant to be a quick reference to have everything on the same board. The tracking of scores is not enforced at any level.

• Ability to track timeouts. The tracking of timeouts is not enforced at any level.

• Ability to track up to 4 penalties per side. The app provides Blue and Red sides (to match the traditional sideline score cards). The user can add 4 blue and 4 red penalties to be tracked. 

• Ability to associate player # with penalties. When adding a penalty, optionally you can Player # to easily know which player has how much time. This feature becomes important when multiple players get penalties. The app has pre-built times for penalties (30 sec, 1 min, 2 min, and 3 min).

• Ability to release/delete penalties with a single click on the entry. Removing a penalty is as simple as clicking on the penalty you want to delete.

• Warning sound every 5 seconds when clocked is stopped during an active game.

• Warning sound when penalties expire. A quick beep reminds you to release the player in the box.

• Horn sound to announce the end of period. At the end of each period a sound of horn is played to announce the ending.

• Support to disable screen lock to stay on during the game. Nothing more annoying than looking down and finding you phone in screen lock mode. This app by default disables the auto-lock and gives you the ability to disable the feature.

• Track time in the background. During that unexpected phone call or accidental "Home" button push, the app maintains the time in the background. When you return to the app, the timer will show the correct time remaining. Please note that any sound that was missed during this time will not play.

• Settings to manage sounds and app behavior.

• Record Mode to allow for tracking detail of the game such as scores, penalties,  periods, and more. The user can view the report by clicking on the "report" icon on the bottom left hand side. This feature is disabled by default.

• The app will track the time while in background, but it will not be able to play any warning sounds.
